PURPOSE:To float stably a magnetic head, by surrounding a magnetic disc in a dust-proof cover by a shroud to reduce the disturbance in the flow of circulating air via a filter. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic disc 1 enclosed with the dust-proof cover is surrounded by the shroud 13, and clean air is circulated without disturbance via inserting inlets 15a, 15b to which the filter 12, actuators 4a, 4b and respective access arms 2a, 2b are inserted. The magnetic head is floated stably without producing vibration by the air flow having no disturbance, allowing to record and reproduce data in excellent way. |
