<p>Process for heat treatment of a sheet metal blank 1 intended to be shaped by rolling and bending with a view to producing a coupling member, especially a shoe for a universal joint, characterised in that it consists in subjecting the blank 1 to localised annealing by induction heating in the regions 9, 10, 11, 12 of the blank which are intended to be subjected to deformations capable of causing the appearance of cracks, the induction heating being carried out by bringing near the blank 1 to be treated an inductance 13 comprising working parts 16, 17, 18, 19 which are intended to cause annealing of the said regions intended to be subjected to the said deformations. <IMAGE></p> |
