<p>Dispersion contns, mainly (I) a physicochemical combination of CdCO3 & CdS(as CdS.n CdSO3, where n is 5) (II) 1 dye sensitiser capable of absorbing visible light energy & transferring it to (I), (IIIe fillers eg. ZnS, SiO2, RiO2, etc., (IV) iodine or iodides of e.g. K, Li, Sn, Pb. etc. (II) & (IV) are incorporated with/or soln. coated on the finely powered remainder then the whole is dispersed in a solvent soln. of a resin binder (V). The product is more photosensitive, thermally stable, and resistant to damage than conventional sensitised ZnO or Cds products. It also gives improved electrostatic contrast & has a high photoelectric response rate. It is virtually free from pre-exposure faults, long life & can be used with +ve or -ve chargings.</p> |
