PURPOSE:To attain simple and sure operation by receiving the recording end mark operation at the program area end as the program-out mark operation after a prescribed time, in recording a marking signal for sub-code forming on a VTR tape. CONSTITUTION:In selecting the marking mode via a keyboard 115 of a sub-code generating circuit 113 and operating a prescribed key, a marking signal is recorded in response to a PCM main code signal of the VTR tape. The sub-code is formed simply, accurately and automatically in response to the generating time measurement of a reproducing marking signal and time chart forming. In operating the keyboard 115 at the program area end where one unit of main code is ended at the marking mode and applying the recording end marking signal, a program-out signal by the operation within further 10sec is neglected and the recording end marking signal is received as the program-out signal. Thus, the sub-code forming and operation are simplified so as to ensure the forming operation. |
