PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a malfunction or a fault of a copying sensor, by providing the copying sensor at the mobile part of an obstacle de- tecting sensor. CONSTITUTION:A mowing device 4 is hung up-down movably in the middle of front and rear wheels 2 and 3 of a vehicle body 1, and a copying sensor A and a contact type obstacle sensor B serving also as a bumper are set at the front part of the body 1. Thus an unmanned mowing vehicle is obtained. The sensor B has a bumper support member 6 which can totally expand and contract back and forth and is always energized in the expanding direction by a spring 5 and contains limit switches (a)-(d). A bumper member 7 is welded at the front edge part of the member 6. The left and right members 7b and 7c of the member 7 are connected rotatably to the rear part with a hinge 8. The sensor A, a light emitting element P1 and a photodetecting element P2 are provided at the lower end parts of the members 7b and 7c. Thus the boundary is discriminated between a mowed area and an unmowed area. |
