PURPOSE:To return surely an loaded transaction medium to a customer, by guiding the depression of a cancellation button at the interruption of transaction by a transaction device and returning the transaction medium when the cancellation button is depressed according to the guide. CONSTITUTION:When the customer selects a transaction item displayed on a CRT display 7 by using a keyboard 6, a main control section 201 checks whether or not the selection is effective, and if the selection is not effective, a guide display of ''Please depress the cancellation button'' is displayed on the display 7. When the customer depresses the cancellation button on the keyboard 6, the control section 201 displays 7 a guide of ''Your card is to be returned'', discharges the card from the insertion slot and the card is picked up by the customer. The control section 201 monitors the depression of the cancellation button for a prescribed time and if no cancellation button is depressed regardless of elapsed prescribed time, the card is collected again in the device. |
