PURPOSE:To obtain the titled apparatus which enables the making of punched holes at an appropriate position of a recording in connection to any of a vertically-long-size recorder or a laterally-long-size recorder by varying the direction of rotation depending on the paper feeding direction, vertially-long way or laterally-long way. CONSTITUTION:Various data are taken into a ring buffer 2 through an interface 1 and stored into a page memory 3. When a command of rotation is given after a print data for one page is taken into the page memory 3, the print data is stored into a save page memory 4 corresponding to rotation. Dot information is outputted from a character generator 7 based on the contents of a line buffer 6 and fed into a recorder through an interface 5. |
