PURPOSE:To hold high reliability in composite load circumstances, by providing a test tank, where a pipe or a pipe joint to be tested is immersed and held, and a high-temperature preparing tank or the like where a relatively high-temperature medium to be supplied to the test tank is stored. CONSTITUTION:A device for load test of heat cycle is provided with a test tank 1, where a steel pipe or pipe joint is immersed and held, and a high-temperature preparing tank 2 where a relatively high-temperature medium to be supplied to the test tank 1 is stored. This device is provided with a tension and compression test machine 5 which gives a tensile load and a compressive load to the steel pipe immersed and held in the test tank 1. By this constitution, the steel pipe or the pipe joint of wide-range size is held in the test tank, and media whose temperatures are managed accurately are supplied alternately to the test tank cyclically. Consequently, the high reliability is kept even in composite circumstances. |
