PURPOSE:To decrease the frequency of the use of a scraper for the cleaning of a rotary spinnig chamber, thereby reducing the abrasion in the chamber, by carrying out the cleaning of the chamber after the end breakage and upto the ending using air jet and a scraper, and after being failed in the ending, carrying out cleaning only by the air jet. CONSTITUTION:In the case of end breakage of an open-end fine spinning machine, the inner part of the rotary spinning chamber 5 is cleaned before the ending operation by the air jet ejected from the nozzle 31 and the scraper 37 which is turned in contact with the inner wall 6 of the chamber 5 at the part having the largest inner diameter to remove the foreign materials from the chamber. When the successive ending operation has failed, the cleaning of the chamber is carried out without using the scraper 37 because the chamber can be cleaned only by air jet. |
