A colour proof is prepared from positive colour separations and a positive black separation (to be used for preparing printing plates) using a positiveacting silver halide colour photographic material (preferably silvo dye bleach type) by (1) twice exposing the material though each colour separation using light of the corresponding colour, once with and once without the positive black separation, the ratio of the amounts of light of the exposure with and without the black separation being in the range 1 : 19 to 1 : 1, and (2) developing the photographic material. |
