PURPOSE:To obtain an electric bulb body which provides extremely high luminance when electricity is conducted to a resistance wire by embedding the resistance wire which emits brilliant light when conducted with electricity into a quartz body having high transparency. CONSTITUTION:An electric bulb 1 has a filament 2 of tungsten in a transparent body 3 of quartz, and electricity is conducted to the filament 2 from the terminal 21 in the insulator part of an insulator. The filament 2 when conducted with electricity emits light and the quartz electric bulb 1 increases its brilliancy. The top end of an optical fiber 4 is tightly joined to the quartz part in order to transmit the brilliant state by the fiber 4. An optical fiber 42 exists in the cord of an electric wire and the brilliant light is drawn from the fiber 42 according to need. If the conduction of electricity is interrupted on account of certain accident, the brilliancy is lost and therefore the presence of absence of any abnormality in the electricity conducting state is detected. |
