PURPOSE:To prevent generation of stress corrosion cracks in a turbine rotor by furnishing a deaerating part, at which the oxygen in supply water is removed to produce pure water, and an evaporating part, at which the purified water is heated to have a pure steam, and by supplying the pure steam obtained to the micro-gap. CONSTITUTION:A water with dissolved oxygen in a tank 8 is supplied to a water supply hole 25, and oxygen is removed by an deaerator 27 to stay in the lower part of a tank 20. The heating steam c reaches a heater pipe 23, where the pure water is heated to have a purified steam f. This pure steam f is supplied to a gap formed at the coupling part of high and low turbines 2, 3 and to shaft sealing parts 2A, 3A through a valve 10, and then injected by an introducing member so as to prevent the radioactive substances flowing through turbines 2, 3 and main steam a containing oxygen from intruding in the micro-gap by means of sealing action. The pure steam f prevents also leakage of the main steam a flowing through turbines 2, 3 to the outside by means of sealing action. |
