PURPOSE:To improve inspection efficiency by providing an information processing means which supplies relative data to a display and recording means according to a sample number read on the way of automated conveyance of a slide glass. CONSTITUTION:When a slide glass storage cassette 2 is stored in an elevator 3, the slide glass 1 is fed out by a lever 5 and the sample number on the slide glass 1 is read. Then, the slide glass 1 is conveyed by an air chuck 11 to a slide-glass passing part 17, where it is set on an XY stage 19 moved thereto in advance; the slide glass is carried by this stage 19 to the center of the optical axis of a microscope 18 and observed by a television camera 30. Information processing such as information retrieval is performed on the basis of the sample number and the obtained data is displayed on a color monitor as well as the sample and sample number and recorded when necessary. |
