The invention relates to apparatuses of the solar collector type allowing the efficiency of the absorption of solar radiation to be enhanced. It comprises a case 1 covered with an insulating material 2 closed by a pane of glass 3 mounted on a joint 5 and containing a black absorber 4 placed in the middle of the case. The absorber thus benefiting from the greenhouse effect can collect convection energy via its internal face. The efficiency of the absorption of energy is practically doubled. The interest of the invention is to obtain solar collectors intended for producing hot water and heating water whose surface, weight, and cost are reduced. <IMAGE>
