The invention relates to the enrichment of useful minerals. The device comprises a sensor 10 whose sensitive element is a float 11 oscillating under the effect of the separator liquid and the reacting to every variation in the pulsing speed of the latter, a converter 12 linked in series to the said sensor 10 and, linked together in series, a comparison block 14 which is furthermore connected to a reference signal shaping block 15, a regulator 16, a control block 17 and an executive mechanism 18 with a compressed air inlet regulator register 6. According to the invention, the sensor 10 is a vertical displacement speed sensor for the separator liquid and, between the converter 12 and the comparison block 14, is connected, in series, a peak detector 13 with a block which is capable of establishing a mean value. The invention applies to the automation of the process for enrichment of carbon in hydraulic pulsing machines. <IMAGE>
