The system for guiding material falling from a conveyor into a shaft above a bunker uses a vertical duct connected to a vertical tapered section with its smaller end at the bottom, and connected by a sleeve to the top of the vertical tube forming the duct for the bunker. The vertical duct at the top contains a helically twisted guide plate which is rotated about a vertical axis inside the duct. The helix angle of the plate is steep and the top part is shaped to form a support inside a collar around the top. The support acts as a bearing the allow the plate to rotate. The top of the tapered section matches the size of the upper section and the sleeve can slide for height adjustment.
