The invention relates to a solar collector for heating the water circulating in a duct 1. The insulation fin 13 is clipped onto the duct 1, then it is sandwiched between a rear shell 7 and a transparent lid 6 whose edges 8 and 9 are clamped by staples 12. The collector thus has the shape of flat rectangular modules 16 which are retrofitted to a rigid and already installed duct 1. Application: elimination of leaks; incorporation of the collector to roofing by placing the modules 16 between the rafters under transparent tiles. <IMAGE>
