PURPOSE:To prevent the dancing phenomenon of a current collecting shoe by extending the arm of the shoe from the shaft supporting position at the side opposite to a power supply rail and providing a balance weight at the extension. CONSTITUTION:A current collecting shoe 3 is supported to a rotatiolnal shaft 2 in its arm 3a, and elevationally rotatably supported to a frame 1 through the shaft 2. The arm 3a of the shoe 3 is extended at the side opposite to a power supply rail 10 from its shaft supporting position, and a rear frame 15a having a heavy weight is provided as a balance weight at the rear of the extension 15. The conditions that a stopper contact 13 is separated from a downward movement limiting stopper 11 when the frame 1 moves downwadely due to the acceleration alpha2 is M1(alpha2-g)L1>Fl+M2(alpha2-g)L2, where M1 is the weight of the shoe 3, M2 is the weight of the weight 15a, and F is the pressing force of a pressing spring 9. Accordingly, the dancing phenomenon of the shoe can be prevented even on the rail laid on the ground foundation having improper smoothness accuracy. |
