PURPOSE:To prevent fatigue and deterioration of the same part of a rotating body, and to raise the reliability by making the rotating bodies driven by each separate motor contact with each other through a cam face, and moving continuously the rotating body in the axial direction in accordance with a driven member of revolution of the rotating body. CONSTITUTION:Between a gear flange 2 of a photosensitive drum 1 driven by a motor M1 and an operating gear 4 driven by a motor M2, a ball bearing 5 being freely rotatable round a shaft 6 is provided so as to contact with a cam face 2a of the gear flange 2, by which a cam mechanism is formed. When a member of revolution of the gear flange 2 and a number of revolution of the operating gear 4 are set so as to be slightly different from each other by a prescribed number of revolution, a photosensitive drum 1 executes a reciprocating motion in the axial direction along the shape of the sine curve-like cam face 2a by driving to rotate simultaneously the motors M1, M2. |
