PURPOSE:To contrive to form the diameter in small size, to form in a small type and to enhance the faculty of an endoscope by a method wherein a solid-state image pick-up element and elements of light emitting elements, optical fiber elements or supersonic waves generating and receiving elements, etc., for example, are connected to be adopted for the endoscope. CONSTITUTION:The solid-state image pick-up element 1 and the light emitting elements 2... are arranged and connected in the prescribed pattern, the solid-state image pick-up element 1 is connected to a monitoring television 5 through a camera control unit 4, and the light emitting elements 2... are connected to an electric power source 6. A subject is illuminated by the light emitting elements 2..., and is enabled to be imaged by the solid-state image pick-up element 1. Accordingly, picture informations outputted from the solid-state image pick-up element 1 are presented on the monitoring television 5 through the camera control unit 4. At a solid-state image sensing element device 8 constructed by arranging and connecting the solid-state image pick-up element 1 and the supersonic waves generating and receiving elements 7... of the plural number, the supersonic waves generating and receiving elements 7... are connected to a supersonic waves generating circuit 9, supersonic waves are oscillated to a living body, for example, and by receiving the reflected waves thereof, the tomographic picture of the living body can be obtained. |
