PURPOSE:To prevent an optical level from being reduced in an optical transmission line by connecting optical switches forming by-passes between the optical trasmission line and plural receiving devices. CONSTITUTION:When an optical switch 6 is on, an optical signal transmitted through a transmission line 2 is inputted to each receiving device i (i=1-n). If the address detected from the optical signal is the same as the self-address, the receiving data are started to process. After completing the reception of the data with prescribed length, the optical switch 6 is turned off. The optical switch 6 by-passes the optical signal to the post-stage, so that loss in the optical signal is prevented. Each receiving device is provided with a timer circuit and turns off the optical switch 6 until the succeeding data are transmitted to the self device. |
