发明名称 MOTOR-DRIVEN POWER STEERING DEVICE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent generation of unsmooth sensation when steering control is effected by the use of a low force, by installing a bias control means which drives a motor by means of a given torque when the steering torque level is brought in an insensitive zone. CONSTITUTION:A motor DM generating an auxiliary drive force is controlled by a theoretical control circuit B16. The output of a steering torque sensor 8 is amplified at BO to be input to an absolute value circuit B1, which outputs a bias signal of a given level even if an input signal is at ''0'' level to feed it to the theoretical control circuit B16 through a pulse width modulator B6. Signals from feedback circutis B10-13 and a signal from a car speed sensor SS are also inputted to the theoretical circuit, and the motor DM generates a torque proportional to a steering control force. This causes the motor to generate a torque by means of a bias signal even at the insensitive zone of a torque sensor, resulting in prevention of the generation of unsmooth sensation.</p>
