<p>The small commutator machine (2), which is used especially as a motor, has a magnet framework (3) with flanged-on bearing plates (4), a rotor which is supported by means of the bearing plate and has a commutator, and a brush carrier plate (5) which is mounted in the region of the commutator. Said brush carrier plate (5) consists of an insulating material and carries cartridge-type brush holders having carbon brushes which can be displaced therein against the commutator, compression springs for the carbon brushes, spark-suppression means, which consist at least of a capacitor (22), and connecting means (15). A connecting means (15) consists of an electrically conductive elastic material, is of strip-like construction, is mounted at one end (16) on the brush carrier plate (5) and is also connected to a connection (21), constructed as an attachment wire, of the capacitor (22). A second end (19) of the connecting means (15) projects from the brush carrier plate (5) and presses against a supporting part (7) which is a component of the bearing plate (4) on the commutator side. The connecting means (15) is used to produce an electrically conductive link between the spart-compression capacitor (22) and the bearing plate (4) during installation of the brush carrier plate (5) in the bearing plate (4). …<IMAGE>… </p> |
