PURPOSE:To allow a rotor to endure against long term high speed rotation and to be adapted for mass production by superposing the slot of a rotor core with the through hole of an end ring and simultaneously integrating both of the slot and the hole as a casting shape by aluminum casting. CONSTITUTION:A slot 1a is formed on the circumference of the side of a rotor core 1. An end ring 8 formed of a copper member formed in a ring shape having a through hole 8a at the same position as the slot 1a of the core 1 is formed. The slot 1a of the core 1 is superposed on the hole 8a of the ring 8, and the slot and the hole are simultaneously integrated as a casting shape by aluminum casting. Further, a ring-shaped retainer 4 is engaged with the shaft 5 side of the core 1, a key 6 is inserted into the outside to secure the core 1 to the shaft 5. |
