Glazing press with a table for receiving glazed panels. This rectangular table carries an angle stop piece parallel to its long sides with pressure controlled contact. Above the table and integral with it, a chassis carries two mutually perpendicular beams of which one is parallel with the angle; each beam carries a ramp of adjustable inclination, jacks which are displaceable according to the panels and applicable at a predetermined angle on the limber plate; a photoelectric cell is mounted integral with each beam in such a way that when there is a displacement of a beam the ray emitted by the cell is intercepted by the limber plate, there is stoppage of the ramp beam, timed application and raising of the jacks to the rest position. In the right angle of the two beams a jack which is integral with them is adjusted such that, in the application position, it acts on the mitre joint of the limber plate. A motor for displacing the beams is controlled from the angle contact as a function of instructions emitted by the cell associated with a timer. The press practically eliminates all loss of glass during operations and allows a fast and more regular and therefore less costly manufacture of the glazed frames. <IMAGE>
