The invention relates to a turbine formed from a continuous panel of parallel blades 1 maintained and driven from either side by a sprocket-chain 2-3, certain pins 4 of which carry elements suitable for varying and maintaining the adjustment of the blades 1 according to the part of the circuit through which they are travelling. The chains 2-3 are each tensioned on two wheels 30 with special toothing. The blades 1 change their direction of alignment as they move to the other side of the circuit. These turbines may form very high wind power engines with a large surface area, kept aligned or staggered under metal gantry supports. They will be automatically controlled either to pivot under the effect of changes in the wind direction, or to adjust, according to the strength of the wind, the power of their generator and the inclination of the blades 1. These turbines will therefore harness the energy of the tides and of the surge of sea and river currents. Driven by a motor they will become fans, nautical tracks and generators of reaction driving force. <IMAGE>
