PURPOSE:To execute automatically position matching of an image and to execute a comparing diagnosis by superposing a mesh pattern on a path endoscope image, comparing a live image in the course of image pickup with a mesh pattern of a recording image, and changing automatically an angle of an endoscope inserting part in accordance with its shifts. CONSTITUTION:A mesh pattern of a mesh member 14 is superposed on light source light from a light source 26 and is irradiated to an object to be photographed. A reflected ray from the object to be photographed is led to an image sensor 19 through an image guide 16, and is supplied to a CCU 20 as an image signal. The CCU 20 processes the image signal and supplies it to a comparator 22 and a monitor 24, but on the other hand, an image signal of a past path endoscope image, which is read out of a picture monitor 21 is supplied to the comparator 22 and the monitor 24. The comparator 22 compares these two input signals, supplies a signal corresponding to shift of the mesh pattern to motors 25a, 25b of an angle operating mechanism, and changes an angle of an endoscope inserting part in accordance with shift of the mesh pattern. |
