PURPOSE:To enlarge the void space over the head of the driver in a cab, by supporting a sun visor plate over the front of the driver's seat so that the plate is parallel with the windshield and can be moved up and down for adjustment. CONSTITUTION:A sun visor plate 2 of almost the same width as a windshield 1 is supported in parallel with the windshield by a rightward and leftward guide member 13 secured on a ceiling plate 8, between the bent front part 11 of the ceiling plate and a wall plate 12 secured and extending down from the front part of the ceiling plate. The sun visor plate 2 is moved up and down for adjustment of position by an operating mechanism 3, in which a rotary shaft 15 is connected to the output shaft of a motor 16, which is controlled of driving through a switch 14, and screws 19 are engaged on a right and left screws 18, 17 provided on the rotary shaft 15 and are coupled to the upper edge of the sun visor plate. |
