PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the provision of an exclusive failure transfer line, by transmitting failure information to a master station or a maintenance center via an idle conventional line via an exchange. CONSTITUTION:A failure information transfer ALSND4 starts an exchange at a prescribed interval, and transfers non-failure information to a station B. If a failure takes place in a station A, a failure controller 3 informs the content of failure to the ALSND4. The ALSND4 starts the exchange immediately, a controller CONT2 makes connection to the station B with a prescribed procedure, to a failure information receiver ALRCV7 of the station B. When the ALSND4 and the ALRCV7 are connected in this way, the ALSND4 transmits the content of failure, the ALRCV7 receives and expands it and the content is displayed on a failure display device 8. |
