PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a soft assist grip of high quality by covering a core material with previously formed holding member and, after inserting the member in a tube-like outer cover, filling a space in said cover through heating and foaming. CONSTITUTION:A holding part material 6 is previously formed with a foaming soft synthetic resinous material and a core material 1 is inserted therein. A tube-like outer cover 7 is formed with a synthetic resinous material and the holding part material 6 which holds the inserted core material is inserted therein. Subsequently, this material is put in a metal mold or the like, and heated to foam the holding part material 6. For the purpose, a space 8 is provided inside the tube-like outer cover 7. |
