PURPOSE:To improve a transmission function at the time of multiple faults by sending a message received by a pair of transmission controlling devices constituting a bypass each other to the bypass and a transmission line. CONSTITUTION:When faults A, B are generated in a bypass and loop transmission lines respectively, a transmission controlling device (NCP) 24 sets up function codes respectively and sends the codes to the loop transmission line 2. The message from the NCP24 is sent to an NCP25 through the transmission line 2, transferred to a loop transmission line 1 through a bypass 45, sent to an NCP16 through NCPs 15-11, 18, 17, transferred to the transmission line 2 through a bypass 56, and then sent to an NCP21 through NCPs 26-28 to erase the message at the NCP21. During the transmission, the message is transmitted to at least one of a pair of NCPs in all the NCPs. Consequently, the message can be transmitted to a part which may be disconnected in an ordinary method at the generation of multiple faults such as the faults A, B, so that the transmission function can be improved. |
