PURPOSE:To make a couple of forces attributable to a phase shift between two crankpins negatable, by setting a balance value, which specifies each setting position, to each web, in case of a three-web and two-piston type crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:In case of a crankshaft 3 which has two crankpins 1, 2 as well as three webs 6-8 and is coupled with two cylinders, the phase of each of pins 1 and 2 is shifted in slip as much as an angle alpha with each other, through which primary inertial force due to reciprocation part weight is made so as to be negated. In this case, each of webs 6 and 7 at both ends set the size of a balance value (omega/2)Xr, multiplying half of reciprocation part weight for a single cylinder portion and half of the sum omega of rotational motion part weight by a crank radius (r), to a position in the 180 deg. opposite side to these crankpins 1 and 2, In addition, at the central web 8, the size of a balance value as omegaXrXcos (alpha/2) is to be set to a position in the 180 deg. opposite side to the central part of that side halving the said angle alpha. |
