PURPOSE:To hold different types of bobbins surely by transferring bobbins, which are exhausted onto a supporting member from a bobbin supply device, from the stand-by position to the holding position after sensing by a photoelectric tube, by holding each of them with a holding member, and thereby eliminating necessity for the supply device to include a bobbin holding member. CONSTITUTION:A ball lifting machine 5 runs around a spinning machine table along a rail 4 and stop upon sensing the full tube with a photoelectric tube PH1 when coming up to the position mating with a spinning unit 2 for which the full tube indication lamp lights up. A bobbin 8 in a bobbin containing part 18 is guided from a guide part 21a directly to over a bobbin supporting member 67, and a photoelectric tube PH2 senses it to actuate a cylinder 76. Thus a lever 74 will rotate clockwise. At the same time, a bobbin holding member 40 rotates together therewith till the bobbin holding position and holds the bobbin 8 surely in co-operation with the bobbin supporting member 67. Accordingly there is no need to equip the bobbin supply device 11 with any bobbin holding member, and even though bobbins having different diameter or taper are exhausted, a sure holding can be obtained. |
