PURPOSE:To obtain the heat generating device, utilizing absorption heat, safe, easy to handle, having a stable heating effect and low in the running cost thereof, by a method wherein the vapor of solvent is supplied into a heating composition in a solution tank to cause an absorption reaction. CONSTITUTION:The gas phase in a solvent tank A is communicated with the solution tank B through a pipeline 6 while a nozzle 7 for blowing the vapor of the solvent 6 into the heating composition 3 in the solution tank B is provided at the tip end of the pipeline 6. The gas phase of the solution tank B and a heat exchanging chamber C are communicated through a pipeline 8 while the heat exchanging chamber C and the solvent tank A are communicated through the pipeline 10 having a non-return valve 9 on the middle way thereof. On the other hand, the heating composition 3, stored in the solution tank B, is consisting of a concentrated solution 11, generating the absorption heat by absorbing the vapor of the solvent 1, and an oil having a smaller specific gravity than the concentrated solution 11 while an oil layer 12 is formed on the concentrated solution 11 in the solution tank B. |
