For continuous separation of coarse-grained crystals from a suspension in a gentle and economical manner, a rotatable plate is proposed, whose outer ring is furnished with holes, over which holes is arranged a shape-fitting fine sieve which is fixed to the plate, a delimited filter area being provided on the ring, at one end of which a feed for the suspension is provided and at the other end of which a delivery for the crystalline product is provided. Without the action of significant mechanical forces, the individual crystals are separated off from the suspension, while maintaining their shape and size, a collecting box for the filtrate being provided below the plate in the filter area, said box being connected to an apparatus for production of low pressure. |
