<p>Aqueous dispersions of an oxidized microcrystalline wax, optionally together with one or more non-oxidized paraffins, in which a cationic surfactant is used as dispersing agent may be applied to textile substrates by impregnation or exhaust processes. The treated textile substrates, particularly knitted goods, have improved sewability and are less liable to damage by high-speed sewing machines.</p> |
