For calculating the data for path prediction of flying objects, a high data quality is achieved by means of a special differentiating method for determining the speed and the acceleration of the flying object. The first derivation for determining the speed of the flying object is formed by a discrete circuit of the position data of the flying object with a skew-symmetric function and the second derivation for determining the acceleration of the flying object is formed by a discrete circuit of the position data with a straight-symmetric function with reference to a relatively large number of position data. Both derivations are available at the same time and without mutual delay.
