Adjusting device for the blocking dog of the pivoting latch especially on electromagnetically actuable door openers

Devices for the adjustment of the entire opener housing on its cover plate and of the blocking dog on its rotary latch by means of toothed plates and clamping screws in long holes are known. There is often insufficient space in the frame to adjust the entire housing, especially in metal door frames, and the tooth steps allow only an approximate setting and an unreliable fastening with screws in long holes. The present invention improves these disadvantages by arranging a slide guide between the plates of the dog and the rotary latch, avoiding the need for clamping screws in long holes. For fine adjustment, there is, according to the invention, a setscrew which is arranged between the setting faces and is rotatable from the end face of the dog by means of a tool and which is guided in a plate transversely to the axis and, by engaging into a nut thread, makes the dog adjustable. Transversely or longitudinally arranged grub screws serve as an additional safeguard for the setting.
