A plurality of yarn delivery elements (7) are arranged next to one another and above one another on respective yarn delivery frames (11, 12, 13). The yarn delivery frames (11, 12, 13) are arranged along a polygonal line which commences at a point (15) located nearer to the warp preparation machine (3) and which terminates at a point (16) further from the warp preparation machine (3). The concave side of the polygonal line points in the yarn running direction. As shown in the drawing, the creel (1) can be made double-sided. The yarn delivery frames (11, 12, 13) of each creel side are then arranged along a polygonal line. The yarn delivery frames (11, 12, 13) can assume such a position that the part yarn groups (a, b, c) extending from their yarn delivery elements (7) all have approximately the same entry angle. The winding of long warp beams at a high winding speed will become possible. <IMAGE>
