Fuel injection nozzles for internal combustion engines, with at least one injection aperture (16, 54), the cross section of which is controlled by a valve body (20, 60) as a function of the pressure and/or flow. The valve body (20, 60) is designed as a rotary slide valve and the fuel pressure together with a mechanical return force exert opposing torques on the valve body (20, 60). The absorption volume present in the case of injection nozzles with axially moving valve bodies is thereby avoided and in addition the injection jets can also be swivelled into other radial planes by means of the rotary travel of the valve body (20, 60). <IMAGE>
