PURPOSE:To reduce the number of stages and production cost of a reduction gear mechanism for improving transmission efficiency by providing a helical gear or the like for a first stage of a reduction gear and a spiral bevel gear for a second stage to constitute a drive device from 2 stage reduction gear mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A helical gear 11 is provided for a first stage reduction gear mechanism and a spiral gear 12 for a second stage one. And a drive force of a DC motor 4 is transmitted through a coupling 5 to the helical gear 11 and from the helical gear 11 to the spiral bevel gear 12 by which is driven wheels 3 coupled with a spline shaft 10 through the spline shaft 10. Thus, since the reduction gear mechanism which had heretofore 3 stages gets to have 2 stages, the transmission efficiency of the drive force can be improved while the number of gears and the production cost can be reduced. Also since a spur gear is not used, gear noise is reduced. |
