The invention relates to a gear, for example for an electromotive door drive. The object of the invention is to design an electromotive door drive in such a way that, whilst being of compact construction, it can also be mounted on the pillar at a distance from the door inner face and, moreover, has a very high torque transmission ratio in a compact construction. According to the invention, a spindle nut of a threaded spindle of relatively small thread pitch has driving arms which pass simultaneously through the straight slot of a drive cylinder, for example for the door drive, and the helical slot, provided with a very high pitch, of a stationary guide cylinder. The entire arrangement works with very high efficiency in a very confined space. The threaded spindle, driven at a high speed, for example by an electric motor, and having a low pitch, moves the spindle nut upwards and downwards. The driving arms connected firmly to the spindle nut engage externally into the helical slot of a stationary guide cylinder. The high pitch of the outer guide cylinder forces the spindle nut to execute a pivoting or rotating movement. |
