PURPOSE:To continuously supply articles out of contact with each other by positioning the article in each holding space formed by respective turnable holding plates, and bringing the article into contact with a feed piece of an adjacent turnable holding plate ahead to be turned and moved. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of turnable holding plates 10 are disposed on a continuously extended transport path 5 in such a manner that adjacent plates are overlapped in the transport direction. A plurality of feed pieces 10a are radially mounted on each turnable holding plate to form plural holding spaces. In a turning transport system with the turnable holding plate, a transported article B positioned in the holding space S is brought into contact with the feed piece 10a of the adjacent turnable holding plate 10 ahead to be turned and moved. Thus, the transported articles B can be continuously supplied out of contact with each other, not intermittently supplied at the terminal of transport. |
