PURPOSE:To make the expansion of an interval between bin trays and their shifting performable in a smooth manner, by engaging each of followers of plural-stage bin trays in regular sequence through rotation of a spiral cam whereby making them shiftable between expanded intervals. CONSTITUTION:In case of a sheet sorting device which feeds a sheet to each bin tray while plural bin trays 6-9 being opposed face-to-face are shifted from one side of a sheet carrying-in position leading to these bin trays to the other side in order, each of engaging members 6a-9a and 6b-9b is installed on both sides at the tip side of a bin tray where a rear end R side is rotatably supported, while separation from in a shifting direction of these engaging members is regulated by a supporting frame body 12. Moreover, at a spiral cam device 24 installed in the sheet carrying-in position, these engaging members are linked with each of spiral engaging parts 24' and 24'' in regular sequence and during the interval that these bin trays are shifted from one side to the other side in order, these spiral engaging parts expanding the space between these bin trays are installed therein, and further an (n) stripe spiral engaging part is formed around the cam device 24 and also a concave part receiving these engaging members is formed on the periphery of a bottom part. |
