PURPOSE:To facilitate storing of a cord, by a method wherein the cord is pulled out of a container by an arbitrary length and rewound by either pushing a stop release button or pulling out the cord by a short length. CONSTITUTION:A stationary disc 3 and a rotary disc 12 are employed in combination. A stripper 1 and a release button 2 for the stripper are mounted in an upper groove 5 of a circular groove 4 in the stationary disc 3, while a bypass groove 6 is provided under the groove 5, and guide valves 7 and 8 made of a leaf spring are positioned at both ends of a partition 9 between the grooves 5 and 6. A slider 13, having a projection part 14 running in the grooves 4-6, is inserted between the discs 3 and 12, and a groove 15, in which the slider 13 moves vertically, is bored in the disc 12. A spring mounting part 17 and a cord storing part 18 are located on the back of the disc 12, and are so constituted as to allow winding of the spring when the cord is pulled out and taking up of the cord when the spring is unwound. The device enables rewinding of the cord by either pushing the button 2 or pulling out the cord by a short length. |
