Method of producing heat-insulated plaster facades

Heat-insulated plaster facades can be produced by externally located heat-insulating composite systems. The attachment of these systems requires that the moisture content of the base does not exceed given maximum values, since otherwise impermissible quantities of condensation occur, which can result in damage to the system. Since high water contents of the base are frequently present both in old and new buildings, the use of heat-insulating composite systems is impossible or only possible after elaborate preparatory work. The method according to the invention describes a heat-insulated plaster facade in which the insulating-material panels are connected via spacers to the base such that a weak rear-ventilation, having virtually no influence on the heat-insulating action however, is produced. As a result, excess water is carried away during the drying phase in a manner harmless to the system. The rear-ventilation can be removed after drying out.
