PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of paper feeding ever so high, by forming a pressure roller with an inelastic member but a feed roller with an elastic member respectively, while making up both ends of these rollers in a way of situating them outward from both ends of paper, in case of a printer carrying both paper feed and pressure rollers. CONSTITUTION:When a paper pressure roller 5 is driven to move in a B direction, an inelastic member-make pressure roller 5 will not cause any deformation in a radial (r) direction even if it receives the pressing force of an elastic member-make feed roller 8 so that the roller 8 receiving force of the pressure roller 5 rotates a fixed turn in an arrow C direction centering on a shaft 7 and feeds a sheet of paper 4 in a D direction. Like this constitution, since both these rollers 5 and 8 are directly brought into contact with each other at the outside of both ends of the paper 4, the driving force of the pressure roller is accurately transmitted to the feed roller, thus accurate paper feeding can be secured. |
