The inlet chamber (3) is partially covered and the outlet chamber (4) totally covered at the top by means of a baffle plate (5) inclined towards the inlet chamber (3). The outlet opening (8) is located in the region of the outlet chamber (4). The cross-sectional area of the outlet chamber (4) is at least twice as large as that of the outlet opening (7), and the cross-sectional area of the inlet chamber (3) is at least as large as the cross-sectional area of the outlet chamber (4). The free cross-sectional area between the bottom edge (9) - of the inlet chamber (3) and outlet chamber (4) - and the base (2) of the measuring pipe (1) is at least one and a half times as large as the cross-sectional area of the outlet chamber (4). With the device according to the invention, the volume flow of liquids in which gas beads or bubbles form or in which foam forms and/or the solid particles are present can be measured exactly; the corresponding dimensioning and structure of the device lead to optimal degassing of the liquid, and owing to the absence of movable parts in the device, no clamping of such parts can ...
