Combined desuperheater for evaporative condensers

The invention relates to a novel solution of the known evaporative condenser, to be precise of its desuperheater. According to the invention, the desuperheater, which contains a coil, is equipped with external ribs which are constructed such that they are suitable for extracting the moisture of the flowing air. The moisture, which is condensed in the form of drops, is present in the air flow, whose path is interrupted by the external ribs. The solution according to the invention ensures a reduction in the height of the evaporative condenser, and permits improvement in the efficiency of the cooling of the superheated steam flowing through the desuperheater.
