In a thermoelectric heat flow sensor and a method of producing it, having a thermally conductive carrier layer (14) and thermocouples applied thereon on both sides, it is provided that the carrier layer (14) and a wire (15) forming one of the material components (A) of the thermocouples are interwoven and a second material component (B) of the thermocouples is applied to prescribed regions of the woven fabric (14, 15) (Fig. 4). <IMAGE>
